Description
American artist Carol Bove has a deep connection to NYC—moving to the City in the 1990s, working as an art professor at NYU from 2009 to 2013 and currently residing in Brooklyn. This exhibition in the Guggenheim’s rotunda provides a survey of Bove’s 25-year career, from early drawings and her assemblages of “found objects” to newly created large-scale steel sculptures. Her works span different mediums and encourage viewers to slow down and reflect on how we view the world.
