Description
Italian artist Carol Rama may not have received her just due while she was active, but her works have been deeply influential for current artists. Consisting of more than 100 paintings, objects and works on paper, this exhibition marks the first New York City museum survey of Rama’s work and the largest presentation of her art to date in the US. Her career spanned 60 years, and her works anticipated current discussions on sexuality and gender.
