Celebrate Brooklyn’s concert series—a mix of big-name benefit shows (Liz Phair and Royel Otis among them) and free performances—takes place at the Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park, a spacious venue that’s perfect for picnicking. This marks the festival’s 47th year and it’s been coined “Radical Joy” for the rich cultural experiences it brings to Brooklyn. Also worth noting: This year’s lineup is the most women-forward in Celebrate Brooklyn’s history.
