Powerhouse Arts enters the art fair arena with this five-day initiative aimed at giving more opportunity and representation to what is known as the “global majority”—communities from Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Oceania and Indigenous nations the world over. Individual artists and galleries from these regions will gain a platform that may otherwise be unavailable to them and connect to the NYC art scene.
