Dance Parade

Some 10,000 dancers in 150 groups from all over take to the streets of New York City for this joyously multicultural musical parade. The dancers, floats, live bands and DJs start at 17th Street and Sixth Avenue and head south down to 8th Street, where they’ll shake eastward  to Tompkins Square Park. The party continues in the park with DanceFest, an afternoon of free performances, lessons and social dancing across four stages.
