Description
BAM’s iconic celebration of African and African American dance, music and culture returns in spring. This year’s installment highlights the rhythms and culture of Uganda. The main attraction is the performances by Uganda’s Ndere Troupe, but visitors can also expect an outdoor bazaar, traditional dance and music, films, visual art and much more in this annual tradition—one of the largest celebrations of African culture and Brooklyn’s unofficial kickoff to summer.
