As the nation approaches the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, join historian Robert Watson for an insightful exploration of the lesser-known stories behind America’s founding. This talk will uncover myths, misconceptions and anecdotes that reveal a nuanced perspective on the event that shaped the Declaration. Co-sponsored by the Legal History Committee of the New York City Bar Association, the lecture is offered both in-person and via Zoom.
