Pianist and composer Edward Simon leads a powerhouse trio with acclaimed bassist Larry Grenadier and drummer Adam Cruz at Bronx Music Hall. The ensemble performs music from Simon’s latest album, Venezuela: Latin American Songbook Vol. 2, continuing his celebrated exploration of Latin American repertoire through a jazz lens. Following his NAACP Image Award–winning first volume, this program reimagines beloved classics and hidden gems from the region, creating a dialogue between tradition and innovation.
