Join Carole Alexis Ballet Theatre / Ballet des Amériques for eMeLe-K, a vibrant festival honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through the lens of African diasporic and Afro-Latinx culture at Teatro Latea. Featuring performing and visual arts, the program celebrates themes of equality, justice and reconciliation, while highlighting the contributions of Afro-Latinos, African Americans and allies. The evening includes powerful choreography rooted in Afro-Caribbean traditions, where movement and emotion come together in tribute and celebration.
