Description
People have been drawn to Bali by its unique culture throughout history. This exhibit focuses on Balinese Hindu cosmology and the role of textiles in cultural resilience and their role as records of important pieces of Balinese history. Among the items on view are rare pieces collected by Margaret Mead and Gregory Bateson during their Indonesian fieldwork.
