Top clubs from leagues around the world—32 in all, including powerhouses such as FC Porto and Borussia Dortmund—descend on the States this summer to compete in the monthlong FIFA Club World Cup. New York New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium will be the site of nine matches, including the final, a role it will repeat for FIFA World Cup 2026. See the remaining match schedule below for area games that are part of the event, which has moved from an annual to a quadrennial competition; you can easily get to the stadium from the City by bus (Megabus or NJ Transit from Port Authority) or train (NJ Transit from Penn Station).
July 8, 3pm: Fluminense FC vs. Chelsea FC
July 9, 3pm: Paris Saint-Germain vs. Real Madrid C.F.
July 13, 3pm: Chelsea FC vs. Paris Saint-Germain
