Description

Opening during the nation’s sesquicentennial, Folk Nation: Crafting Patriotism in the United States at the American Folk Art Museum explores how vernacular art has shaped American identity over 250 years. The exhibition highlights the ways everyday makers have expressed patriotism, belonging and the evolving idea of the United States through their craft. Note: the exhibit will close from September 14 to October 8, reopening through the end of February 2027 after that.
