Description

The 2022 production of Ntozake Shange’s iconic work will be staged at the Booth—the home for the show's 1976 debut. This celebration of Black womanhood features Camille A. Brown in her Broadway directorial debut. Brown is also the show's choreographer, making her the first Black woman to serve as both director and choreographer on a Broadway production in more than 65 years.
