Description
The area east of City Hall and Municipal Building was once was a foul-smelling, disease-ridden district; it was a place of violence, gang wars, poverty and corruption—home to such gangs as the Roach Guards, Plug Uglies, Shirt Tails and Dead Rabbits. This tour highlights Five Points visitors like Davy Crockett, Charles Dickens and Abraham Lincoln and takes visitors passed the oldest Jewish graveyard in North America, among other sites.
