Description
This tense play based on real events in the life of children’s author Roald Dahl comes from a triumphant run on London’s West End. Two-time Tony winner John Lithgow—who also won an Olivier for originating this role—stars as the beloved writer who is besieged with scandal after antisemitic remarks attributed to him appear in the press. The rest of the cast also transfers for the stateside production of Mark Rosenblatt’s playwrighting debut.
