Description

The Lower East Side’s Essex Market hosts the world’s largest gingerbread village, as determined by Guinness World Records for several years. Looking to hold that title once again, this season’s event is sure to be as delicious and amazing as its predecessors. Creator and chef Jon Lovitch drafts, designs, bakes and constructs 1,500 homemade gingerbread houses made of edible gingerbread, royal icing and candy.
