Description
In a new play by Primary Stages artistic director Emily Mann, actress Patricia Kalember (Sisters, thirtysomething) stars as feminist icon Gloria Steinem. Weaving together 50 years of social activism, Gloria: A Life features seminal moments in Steinem’s personal and professional career as a writer and journalist, among them her infamous expose on being a Playboy bunny and the founding of Ms. magazine. The show is directed by Diane Paulus (Pippin, Hair).
