Description

This retrospective will give visitors an overview of the career of Gordon Matta-Clark, a mixed-media artist who trained as an architect and was best known for transforming derelict or disused buildings by carving out new holes and apertures. Some of the more than 100 works that will be on display include photographs of Matta-Clark’s most famous site-specific “cut” installations in the Bronx as well as several of his film projections.
