Description

Francisco Goya produced more than 1,000 drawings and prints over his long career, which may surprise those who know him best for his phantasmagorical paintings. This chronological exhibit, which draws from collections in the US and Spain as well as from the Met's own holdings, focuses on how the artist responded to social and political changes through this medium.
