Harlem Week

Celebrate one of the most vibrant destinations in New York City at Harlem Week, an annual festival highlighting the rich heritage of the neighborhood and the people who call it home. What started as a “onetime” and one-day-only affair in 1974 has grown into one of this neighborhood’s signature events. With both virtual and live activities, Harlem Week showcases the African, Caribbean and Hispanic history of the district.
