Celebrate one of the most vibrant destinations in New York City at Harlem Week, an annual festival highlighting the rich heritage of the neighborhood and the people who call it home. What started as a “onetime” and one-day-only affair in 1974 has grown into a two-week-plus signature. After more than five decades, Harlem Week continues to showcase the African, Caribbean and Hispanic history of the district, this year under the theme “Honoring Our Legacy” in celebration of its success as one of NYC’s most enduring cultural institutions.
