Description
One of the theater’s most memorable characters, the bold and sassy Dolly Levi is a Manhattan-based, widow-cum-matchmaker with her sights set on “half-a-millionaire” Horace Vandergelder of Yonkers, New York. Set in a colorful turn-of-the-century NYC, this classic musical’s star-studded return to the Great White Way features Bernadette Peters as Dolly, with Victor Garber (Alias) as Vandergelder. Directed by Jerry Zaks, the show is rounded out by Gavin Creel (She Loves Me, Hair) and Kate Baldwin (Finian’s Rainbow). Bette Midler will return to the title role for the show's final six weeks, starting July 17.
