On the 50th anniversary of hip-hop’s birth, head to this musical celebration in the borough where it all began. Headliners include giants of the genre, such as Run-D.M.C., Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne and Lil’ Kim. Many more stars will be on hand to perform, with sets dedicated to women of hip-hop, like Remy Ma and Eve; Kool Herc and others who helped shape hip-hop in its early days; and influential DJs.
