Description
Greek god Dionysus, an accomplished gardener, travels to New Jersey on a mission to recruit followers and return the planet to a more natural state. She settles in the suburb of Red Bank where she encounters four housewives, tries to influence their landscape design and learns there’s more to a neighborhood than just curb appeal. Playwright Madeleine George’s show is an inventive, comedic commentary on climate change; Leigh Silverman directs. Hurricane Diane is a co-production with the WP Theater.
