Description

Emily Dickinson is the author of more than 1,700 poems, however her work was relatively unknown to her contemporaries as only a handful of those poems were published in her lifetime. This exhibit is made up of more than 100 rarely seen items including manucripts and letters in her own hand, including those that highlight her rich friendships that run counter to the typical perception of Dickinson as a recluse.
