Description
The 75th anniversary of the Costume Institute is marked by a yearlong celebration of American fashion. The first exhibit, drawing inspiration from a patchwork quilt, comprises 100 representative individual ensembles that are arranged in squares and rows. The second part, In America: An Anthology of Fashion, opens in the American Wing on May 7, 2022, and documents the history and development of fashion in the US.
