In Pursuit of Life, Liberty, and Happiness
Oct 23, 2026
Description
The Brooklyn Museum and Creative Time host leading voices across art, activism and scholarship in a discussion on urgent contemporary issues—from migration and reproductive justice to mass criminalization and climate change. The daylong event marks the culmination of Drawing America: US@250, a season of art installations, programs and partnerships honoring those who have imagined a more equitable future and fought for the promise of our democracy—and those who continue to do so today. Doors open at 10 am, and the convening runs from 11am–5pm.
