Description

Come to a celebration of Indigenous literature, which upholds a long tradition of Native communities sharing and recording their stories and histories. The panel features historian Linford D. Fisher, author of Stealing America: The Hidden Story of Indigenous Slavery in U.S. History; Cherokee novelist Eliana Ramage, author of To the Moon and Back; and writer Greg Sarris (Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria), author of The Last Human Bear. Cherokee scholar Joseph M. Pierce, author of Speculative Relations: Indigenous Worlding and Repair, will moderate the conversation; a book signing follows.
