Is This a Room

Two Off-Broadway transfers, true stories based on the lives of women, will be performed in repertory at the Lyceum. Is This a Room is the story of Reality Winner, the former Air Force linguist who was interrogated by the FBI. Tina Satter uses the FBI’s transcript of the interrogation to craft a drama between Reality (Emily Davis, in her Broadway debut) and the agents who questioned her. Dana H. is the story of Dana Higginbotham, who was held captive by a member of the Aryan Brotherhood in south Florida for five months. Playwright Lucas Hnath, who is Higginbotham’s son, brings Dana’s story to life through her own words.
