This event has already occurred
Description
The setting of Jocelyn Bioh's world-premiere play is Jaja's, a busy hair-braiding salon in Harlem. The show follows a lively crew of West African immigrant hair braiders who serve the neighborhood and are forced to explore what it means to be an outsider in a community you formerly called home. Obie winner Whitney White directs.
