Description

Celebrate the legacy of jazz legend Duke Ellington at this special February edition of Flushing Town Hall’s Monthly Jazz Jam. Open to professional musicians, jazz students, educators and serious hobbyists, this session invites player of all instruments (vocalists, too!) to take the stage. A Steinway baby grand and drum kit are provided. Led by longtime house band leader, Carol Sudhalter, joined by Joe Vincent Tranchina (piano), Eric Lemon (bass) and Scott Neumann (drums), the evening draws on decades of jazz experience. Musicians play free; jazz lovers are welcome to listen and enjoy.
