Description
The Joyce Theater hosts more than 15 dance companies this spring and summer, with performances ranging from ballet to tap to flamenco—and even a kids’ dance troupe. Highlights include the next-generation Alvin Ailey project known as Ailey II with their athletically intense performances; two weeks of shows from Hubbard Street Dance Chicago; two world premieres from Parsons Dance; nearly a week of performances from Tap City; the visually stunning modern moves of Pilobolus; Mark Morris Dance Group’s works set to jazz, country and other music genres; and the Joyce’s Ballet Festival.
