Description
The Juneteenth Freedom Parade and Festival returns to Staten Island for its fourth year, featuring floats, a flag raising, health pavilion, historic reenactment and live entertainment. The parade begins at noon at the intersection of School Road and Bay Street and includes five living history themed floats: Harriet Tubman, Madam CJ Walker, Civil Rights Freedom Fighters Walk, Western/Cowboy & Cowgirl and Afrofuturism. The parade ends at 1pm at Tappen Park, where the festival and reenactment begin.
