This event has already occurred

Description

Each December 26, the Brooklyn Children’s Museum teams up with Asase Yaa Cultural Arts Foundation for a full day of Kwanzaa celebrations, focusing on teaching the younger set about the principles of the holiday—unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, faith and creativity—and how they can incorporate them into their daily lives. The event features music, dances, performances, readings and more. Visit the museum’s website for more details about this year’s installment, which marks the 16th annual celebration.
