Description
Based on a famous Spanish tale first published in 1499, this play follows a young nobleman named Calisto who, while chasing his falcon into the garden of Pleberio, stumbles upon Melibea, a young woman kept in seclusion by her parents. Calisto enlists the help of procuress Celestina to help him seduce the girl. From there, Calisto and Melibea begin an affair and fall madly in love until tragedy hits. The show is performed in Spanish with English subtitles available.
