Description
Those inspired to make a permanent personal tribute to NYC may take inspiration from the works on display here: a collection of materials related to the enduring popularity of the Statue of Liberty in tattoos. Presented by City Reliquary and Daredevil Tattoo Shop & Museum, the exhibit covers ink-on-skin versions of Lady Liberty’s likeness since she was first unveiled in New York Harbor back in 1886. Tattoo enthusiasts, folk-art aficionados and history buffs won’t want to miss it.
