Description

This exhibit, in honor of the centennial of Rauschenberg’s birth, draws from the museum’s permanent collection and the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation’s holdings to explore the artist’s decades-long relationship with the Guggenheim. The centerpiece is Barge, a 32-foot long silkscreen painting that returns to the City for first time in more than two decades.
