This event has already occurred
Description
Pape is considered a key figure in Brazilian modern art, and this marks the first US retrospective devoted to her work. Made up of paintings, drawings, woodcuts and more from the 1950s (alongside her living sculpture Divisor which dates from 1968), the exhibit examines her role in Rio’s Concrete movement as well as among the other artists of her generation.
