Description
Each year on Independence Day, Macy’s lights up the sky with a spectacular display of thousands of fireworks launched from barges on the river; this year it will take place from the lower East River, lower Hudson River and the Brooklyn Bridge, so visible from more vantage points than usual. The show typically begins at 8pm with performances, but the fireworks blast off later—about an hour after sunset. Performers for 2026 include Post Malone, Salt-n-Pepa, Noah Kahan and Shaboozey.
