Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks

Each year on Independence Day, Macy’s lights up the sky with a spectacular display of thousands of fireworks launched from barges on the river (in 2024, it returned to the Hudson River, on Manhattan's west side). The show begins at 8pm with performances, but the fireworks blast off later—about an hour after sunset. Previous performers have included Ashanti, Bebe Rexha, Brett Young, Ja Rule, Jelly Roll and The Roots.
