Description

During the summer of 1969, Charles Leslie and Fritz Lohman presented their first exhibition of gay artists and drew more than 300 guests to their Soho loft. This exhibit, which draws from their 50-year collection that grew into the largest collection of LGBTQ+ art in the world, explores the founders' ongoing advocacy for gay artists through themes including design, fashion, the erotic, the impact of AIDS and key moments in recent LGBTQ+ history.
