Description
The Metropolitan Opera opens its 2019–2020 season with a new production of Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess. Other new stagings during the season include Wagner’s Der Fliegende Holländer, Berg’s Wozzeck, Handel’s Agrippina and Philip Glass’s Akhnaten. Opera-goers should also keep an eye out for Macbeth, Turandot, Madama Butterfly, La Bohème and The Magic Flute.
