Description
Since 2002, MoCCA Arts Fest (formerly MoCCA Fest) has been a great setting for comic lovers and creators to showcase and celebrate the diversity of the medium as well as discover comics, graphic novels, animation, posters, prints and original artwork. Each year, dozens of established and emerging creators, scholars and other experts come to participate in two days of lectures and discussion panels on a variety of comics and cartoon topics. The festival, put on by the Society of Illustrators, is held at Chelsea’s Metropolitan Pavilion; programming also takes place at the nearby SVA Flatiron Gallery.
