Description
This musical centering on a love triangle in old world Russia takes its story from a 70-page section of Tolstoy’s War and Peace. Natasha Rostova has arrived in Moscow, counting down the days until her fiancé, Andrey, returns from the battlefields of war. When she falls for another wealthy suitor—threatening her reputation in Moscow’s society circles—family friend Pierre may be her only saving grace. Tony nominee Denée Benton stars again as Natasha after dazzling in the role at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge.
