Description

This parade up Fifth Avenue celebrates the Puerto Rican community and culture, which connects the millions of Puerto Ricans living in the New York City area and across the United States with their compatriots in the Caribbean. “Lively” doesn’t even begin to describe the event. Tens of thousands of participants—and a million or more spectators—join in every year for energetic musical performances, special floats and celebrity appearances.
