The New York City Ballet begins its 75th anniversary season this fall with a four-week celebration of founder George Balanchine. The first week kicks off with performances of his only full-length plotless ballet, Jewels. Other highlights include Serenade (the first original work Balanchine created in America), Stars and Stripes, a revival of Bourrée Fantasque and Symphony in C.
