Description

The New York City Ballet kicks off its fall season with the inimitable Swan Lake from George Balanchine. The season includes other Balanchine works such as Ballade (last staged in 2003) and Tchaikovsky Suite No. 3. Among the other notable performances are the NYCB premiere of Justin Peck’s whirlwind Heatscape, Jerome Robbins’ epic The Goldberg Variations and a world premiere from Jamar Roberts, former dancer and resident choreographer at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
