Description

Created by Film at Lincoln Center, NYFF elevates and enriches the art of film with screenings, lectures and panels. Festival passes and individual tickets will get you access to sneak previews, revivals and innovative new forms and voices. This year's films include big names in the directing front, with premieres from Luca Guadagnino, Jim Jarmusch and Bradley Cooper among the 60-plus movies being screened. Guadagino's After the Hunt, starring Julia Roberts as a Yale professor whose close colleague is accused by her prize PhD student of sexual assault, kicks things off on opening night. Other highlights include Cover Up, a documentary about Seymour Hersh; Katherine Bigelow's latest action film A House of Dynamite; and The Fence, a tense drama from Claire Denis that's set in West Africa. Check the website for the complete lineup.
