Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel makes his debut as the New York Philharmonic’s new music and artistic director this fall. Expect concerts and special events celebrating his inaugural season, including an opening night concert at Radio City Music Hall. Additional highlights include concerts commemorating the 25th anniversary of 9/11; opera performances like Puccini’s Tosca; a three-week spotlight on Beethoven; concerts marking the 80th birthday of composer John Adams; and, of course, the fan-favorite free Concerts in the Parks.
