Description

Update, 10/8: After a successful regular season  Yankees lost to the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2025 MLB playoffs—but wait till next year!

The Yankees lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series and now begin preparations for the 2025 season after their exciting playoff run. One of the most famous and successful franchises in sports, the Yankees have won a staggering 27 World Series championships; no other team comes close. Former players like Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle are as much a part of American folklore as they were athletes. The team’s current stars include captain (and single-season American League home-run record holder) Aaron Judge, Cy Young Award winner Gerrit Cole and newly acquired pitcher Max Fried. The Yankees take on the Brewers in their March 27 home opener.
