Niyū Yūrk: Middle Eastern and North African Lives in the City

This NYPL exhibition showcases the frequently overlooked history of Middle Eastern and North African immigration to New York City, from the late 19th century through today. It also explores how the City has shaped and been shaped by the lives, identities and creative practices of these communities and the artists and writers that represent them.
